Earlier families will toil and do all the coordination work in the family functions. Relative will stay and help manage the event. They’ll hire the decorators, tent wallas, band baja, electrical guys, decoration people, halwai and so on. All the coordination and running made it a tiring experience, and instead of enjoying, most family members would be exhausted by the time event actually starts. But then while all dressed up, they’d still be running because something would go wrong or somebody didn’t do it properly. All this made it exhausting, rather than enjoyable.
